FAQs

CHOICE OF MAGNIFICATION

Larger magnification means shorter focal distance. For large size magnifier, 5-dioptor (2.25x by lineal sense 5x by areal, 4in by focal length ) is the most versatile and common setting while 3-D (1.75x by lineal, longer focal length) is less common; 10x would be impossible to use (basically false advertising).

CHOICE OF ARM

For a real glass magnifier, it is equally essential to keep the lamp head stable and adjustable. Spring based arm system (GA65, GA75) and the gooseneck arm(GA91, GA55) are both the right option. Gooseneck is excellent in its flexibility and free positioning. While spring swing arm magnifying lamp is a beautiful setting in profesional space.

CHOICE OF FIXTURE

Given the heavy weight of magnifying glass and hands free arm, you need to consider what type of fixture is best suitable for your needs. DESK CLAMP(Beyamz models: GA55, GA65, GA75) occupies minimal space and garantees super stable stay. It would be highly recommended if you have a desk or table with an exposed edge without obstruction underneath. A-SHAPED CLIP (GA91) is lightweight and flexible in attaching to various edges, even a book or a laptop. TABLE STAND (GA45, GA76) is convinient when you do not have a suitable desk edge, but it is always prone to tilt over by accident and it occupies some desk space.
